One of the main characteristics of EDHEC Business School is its ambition, particularly the ambition to change and develop. It was the first Grande Ecole in France with a double campus following the opening of the second campus in Nice in 1991 and in 2006, EDHEC opened a third site in La Défense in Paris on the Léonard de Vinci campus.

Because EDHEC is continually growing and more space is needed for the new services it offers its students, expansion plans for both Nice and Lille are now underway. In 2009, there will be a move to a new campus in Lille, the School's third move since it was founded over 100 years ago while the Nice campus will benefit from an extension of 7500m2.

Following an extensive search for the right location, EDHEC finally chose an exceptional site set on 8.5 hectares of parkland. The campus is in the heart of Greater Lille, to the north east of the city and 20 minutes by tram from Lille station.
The new site in Lille includes a park of 8.5ha   with buildings to house an amphitheatre of 750 places, 20 amphitheatres of 100 places and 20 classrooms of 50 places. Students will be able to benefit from a refectory seating 450, 250 work-rooms and a multi-media centre. There will be a forum of 130m long, a common room of 450m2 and a student residence comprising 250 studio flats. There will also be a small grocery store and sandwich vending machines.  Athletic students can also make the most of a sports hall with stands to hold 200 spectators, a fitness room and weights room, a squash court and a 25m swimming pool.

EDHEC also extended the Nice campus with a new building, inaugurated in June 2005, and students on the Nice campus will soon be benefiting from an additional 7000m2 of extra space mainly dedicated to students. The seven story building will include a library of twice the existing size, one large amphitheatre with seating for 300 and several smaller lecture halls.

Other facilities will include a larger refectory complete with terrace and a fitness room.  Offices will make up the rest of the building area.
